Felathat Specialized Charitable Clinics, in cooperation with King Abdulaziz University Hospital, provides medical care for needy children from birth to age 15 by opening volunteer clinics (in the outpatient clinics) in the evening and using the latest medical equipment and methods in conjunction with the quality of medical services through a specialized medical team in diseases of (internal medicine, endocrinology, pediatric cardiology clinics and chest diseases clinics) and a full team assigned by Felathat to book appointments for patients, open files for them, conduct the necessary analyses and scans and all medical services.

Many children suffer from short stature, either due to growth hormone deficiency or other reasons, leading to various medical, psychological, and social problems. These children require growth hormone therapy, and the association provides comprehensive support services for these cases at a cost of up to 210,000 riyals annually.
Through these integrated programs, The association seeks to improve the quality of life of children with hormonal disorders, and to help them grow normally and overcome the health challenges they face.

The Felath Association provided support for the health education program implemented by King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah. With the participation of a select group of consultants specializing in pediatrics. These consultants deliver awareness lectures targeting hundreds of fathers and mothers every month. Dozens of lectures have been given, benefiting more than 5,000 people.

The association launched this pioneering program two years ago. With the aim of providing middle and high school students with the basic skills to provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation in emergency situations, This contributes to saving lives. More than 150 students have been trained so far. The association aims to train between 200 and 300 students annually within this program.

This program offers free medical checkups for children aged 8 to 12, aiming for the early detection of common diseases such as high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity, short stature, vision impairment, and heart and kidney disease. The program’s importance lies in the fact that many of these diseases may not show clear symptoms in their early stages; therefore, early diagnosis helps prevent serious health complications.

The association works to provide specialized medical services in vital areas such as: Heart diseases, The brain and nerves, Kidney diseases among children living in remote areas within the Kingdom, which lack such services. The program covers the travel and accommodation costs of visiting doctors. Which is estimated at around 6,000 riyals per medical trip.
The program aims to organize 10 trips per year for each specialization. Prior coordination is made with hospitals in those areas. The specialist doctor conducts a 3-day field visit, during which he is able to examine between 50 and 100 patients. And providing the necessary medical advice. In addition to referring cases that require advanced care to specialized centers.
The total annual cost of this program is 250,000 riyals.

The association has equipped and is operating 16 beds within a leading hospital to provide comprehensive medical services for children across various specialties, including cardiology, intensive care, oncology, pulmonology, nephrology, and neurology. Between 50 and 60 children benefit from this program each month, totaling between 600 and 700 children annually, at an annual cost of 3.5 million riyals. Services include diagnostic procedures, examinations, laboratory tests, and radiology, as well as admission to emergency departments, inpatient wards, and intermediate and intensive care units. All necessary treatments and surgical interventions are provided when required. The association aims to increase the program’s capacity to 1,000 children annually, at an estimated total annual cost of 5 million riyals.

Over the past four years, The association has consistently provided comprehensive medical insurance coverage for children. This is done by contracting with one of the leading insurance companies in the Kingdom. This program allows beneficiary children and their families access to a wide network of medical facilities and hospitals to receive the necessary healthcare. The program started by serving approximately 500 children. It has expanded to include 1,100 children currently, At a total annual cost of approximately one million riyals. The association aims to increase the number of beneficiaries to 1,500 children annually. This requires an estimated budget of 1.6 million riyals annually.
